This has nothing to do with restaurants, but now the the season is over, I just have to say it: when did the NBA become the WWF (that’s the World Wrestling Federation in case you’re wondering).
It’s become so obvious who the NBA and networks wanted to win. In fact, it’s obvious the referees predetermine the outcome. If you watched either of the first two games between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics, it’s clear based on poor calls, missed calls and technical fouls that the NBA wants Lebron James to get his “title.” And we all know now that he did.
So, the NBA’s David Stern is now the WWF’s Vince McMahon, predetermining which team will win and loose. I guess the model works, considering that wrestling has done very well for years even after acknowledged that it’s “entertainment” and not “real.”
Maybe the NBA should do the same. The networks are already playing along.
